Bucharest Stock Exchange closes Thursday’s trading session up

The Bucharest Stock Exchange closed Thursday’s trading session up on almost all indices, and the total value of transactions stood at 61.961 million lei (12.557 million euros), told Agerpres.

The most traded companies on the Regulated Market were Banca Transilvania, with a turnover of 13.114 million lei, Hidroelectrica, with 12.418 million lei, and Fondul Proprietatea, with 8.783 million lei.

The main BET index appreciated 0.65% to 13,097.05 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 37 most liquid shares on the stock exchange, rose 0.62%.

The BET-XT blue-chip broad index, of the 25 most liquid stocks, closed up 0.59%, while the SIF index, BET-FI, was down 0.13%.

The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund returns, closed the session up 0.40%, while the BET-NG, which measures the performance of the ten energy and utilities companies, gained 0.57%.

The BET AeRO Index, which includes 20 representative companies in the AeRO market, appreciated 0.19%.

The best performances were recorded by shares of Armatura (+14.44%), UAMT (+5.08%) and BRD – Groupe Societe Generale (+3.06%).

On the other hand, the most important decreases were recorded by Sinteza (-11,11%), Condmag (-10%) and Prebet (-3,64%).
